Weaving Together Astrology and Pranic Healing

I would like to introduce this article with a quote from J.P. Morgan, one of the most influential bankers in history. He stated that, "Millionaires don't have to be astrologers, billionaires do."

I think it is fair to say that many healers are innately drawn to the potential discovery for higher truths. In Master Choa's spirit of critical rigor, we are taught to be discerning, to investigate ideas and come to our own conclusions. This is the exact approach I have taken in my ongoing study of astrology and its application to Pranic Healing. Like Mr. Morgan, I also believe astrology can be a potential gateway to raising our awareness, taking us from spiritual millionaires to billionaires.

My personal journey began over three years ago during my first reading natal, or birth chart reading. I was blown away by the depth and resonance the reading. I was amazed that someone could look at a printout of symbols connected by a bunch of lines and understand deep soul yearnings that I rarely discussed with anyone. For the first time I felt validated, because someone else was able to see the path I knew I was meant to walk. My path transitioned from obscurity to reality.

Just like my first Pranic Healing treatment, I recognized the presence of true magic and artistry. Ever since that day I have devoted many hours to researching, analyzing and testing the various astrology teachings I have been fortunate to come across. I have since come to learn of the existance of various types of astrology including the fascinating branch of medical astrology. I instantly recognized what a boon to Pranic Healing this information was.

Eventually I started asking healing clients for their birth information, as my own chart points out that I learn best by doing! Why not use what I saw astrologically to have a more in depth understanding of my clients? I was surprised to find that everyone I asked was open to it and eager to learn more about themselves.

At first I started working with the Kabbalistic

correlations of the planets to their rulerships of the chakras. I would consistantly find that clients withplanets debilitated (in a challenging aspect) in the natal chart would have the corresponding chakra(s) out of balance. For example, if they had the sun (the navel) in a sqare to saturn (the ajna) I may find an overactive mind that constantly created debilitating thoughts of fear. I would often feel the energetic dams between the chakras.

As my understanding of astrology grew, I started giving half hour consultations prior to my sessions. I found that clients new to Pranic Healing clients were immediately put at ease when they felt that I had a deep understanding of the personal issues they were facing. By removing the barriers to healing I was able to bridge core issues that may have originally taken three or four sessions to address.

I believe that having a working knowledge of astrological principles will increase our effectiveness as Pranic Healers. This information can be used to identify and counsel clients on potential physical problems such as a tendency to acidosis, as well as see the emotional reasons why that behaviour is present. The branch of astrology that deals with planetary timing can also alert us to upcoming physical or psychological transitions and how to understand and deal with the energies effectively. It is a great tool to be able to tell clients how long particularly stressful energies will last and when they will start to decrease in intensity. If these transformational energies are understood and succeessfully incorporated into a new life strategy the potential for positive chance is enormous. Of course this is always dependent upon the willingness and karmic obligations of the client.

I believe that if you give astrology a chance to prove itself you won't be dissapointed. I often find that those who disregard astrology as a farce, have not taken any time to research it's validity for themselves. In that, they are truly doing themselves, their families and their clients a disservice and limiting their own potential as agents of transformation.
